Middle School

Students in 6th through 8th grades make up our Middle School Department. Students continue to have access to the same special area classes, but also begin to rotate for different content areas. The adjustment to working with a variety of teachers helps increase and support work habits to prepare students for high school and beyond. These years of consistency, high expectations, and empowerment are the key for our middle school students to achieve both personally and academically. In addition, our staff meets the needs of our students and empowers them to make positive choices in their lives. In keeping with our value of social learning, Middle School has Panther Advisory Community (PAC) meetings each cycle. PAC is a way to come together and develop social emotional competencies needed for the transition to High School and the world beyond PSD while still practicing the values of CARES.
