Family ASL

Join fellow PSD families via Zoom and learn ASL to communicate with your Deaf/Hard of Hearing child within your daily routines! 

ASL Level One
Tuesday Evenings 6:00 – 7:00 PM
or
Saturday Afternoons 1:00 – 2:00 PM
For families that have never taken ASL classes before or are new ASL learners. This a structured class.
An interpreter will be available on the first day of class.
ASL Level Two
Thursday Evenings 6:00 – 7:00 PM
For families that have taken Family ASL Level One at PSD *and* are comfortable with fingerspelling, basic ASL and are ready to learn more! This is a structured class.
Conversational ASL
Wednesday Evenings 6:00 – 7:00 PM 
For families that have taken ASL classes before *and* are comfortable conversing in ASL. This will be an informal class with guided questions and discussions with each other, facilitated by an ASL instructor with the goal of working on expressive and receptive ASL skills.
Private Tutoring
30 minutes once a week scheduled with a private tutor based on your own availability
For families that have completed ASL Level One and would like more personalized instruction. Private tutoring can be taken in addition to ASL Level Two and/or Conversational ASL classes.
