Join us for a Family Fun Day at the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, a morning filled with connection, learning, and fun for families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children!
At the heart of the event is our featured workshop, “The Journey Continues: Deaf/HH Graduates on Life, Work & Advocacy.” This panel brings together recent Deaf and Hard of Hearing graduates from a variety of educational programs to share their real-life experiences after high school. Families will hear firsthand what advocacy looks like in the real world from navigating college and careers to building independence and self-advocacy skills in everyday life.
We created this space to help families look ahead with confidence, connect with role models, and better understand the possibilities and pathways that exist beyond graduation.
And of course, there’s plenty of fun for kids! Families can enjoy a bounce house, playground time, and games, creating a welcoming and joyful environment where children can play while adults connect and learn.
