A gift to PSD ensures that Deaf and hard of hearing students can experience an immersive, bilingual education in American Sign Language and English so they can study, work, play, and succeed. Annual Fund

Generous donations to the Annual Fund support the immediate needs of students, as well as the essential services, programming, and expanded activities that are critical to our students’ continued growth and well-being. These resources include advanced technology, extracurricular activities, and specialized support services not covered by public funding sources. The Annual Fund allows PSD to provide each student with the highly individualized academic and extracurricular experiences necessary to build their skills, pursue their passions, and prepare for their future.

Memorial & Honorariums

Contributions to PSD In Honor or In Memory of someone special are a thoughtful way to honor family or friends, celebrate a special occasion, or express sympathy on the loss of a loved one. When you make a gift in tribute, a personalized acknowledgment is sent to the individual or family being honored. The size of the gift is not mentioned but the family receives a listing of donor names and addresses for their personal acknowledgment. Tribute gifts are 100% tax-deductible and will support the Annual Fund unless otherwise designated by the donor. Planned Giving

Planned gifts usually go toward PSD’s endowment, but they may also be earmarked to support special school activities if you wish. PSD will work with you to set up planned or deferred gifts including bequests, life insurance, the balance of qualified retirement accounts or IRAS, or charitable gift annuities.
