Middle School Campers (Rising 6th, 7th & 8th graders)

Local Transportation Provided (Philadelphia area)

$300 per student

PSD is thrilled to offer a five-day STEM summer camp for Deaf and hard of hearing middle school students. This program will include hands-on experience, guest speakers, and so much more. Students will work collaboratively on projects such as:

  • Building a computer

  • Online safety (learning how to protect devices from viruses, worms, trojans, and other types of malware)

  • Basic programming

  • Introduction to coding

We will also have Deaf and hard of hearing guest speakers working in Tech who will share their career paths and inspire us with their stories! Students will develop leadership skills, build social capital in the Deaf community, and learn about careers in Technology.
